No Ordinary Summer Vacation.

There is nothing more a student looks forward to than a solid three months vacation with no school work in sight. For many college students, summer vacation is filled with full- time jobs, internships and extra classes to ensure a bright future. Jacquelyn Drolet is a full- time student, pursuing a bachelor's degree in communications at Liberty University. Liberty is the largest evangelical Christian college and is located in Lynchburg, Virginia. They take pride in knowing that each one of the students are being trained as champions for Christ in whatever field they choose to pursue. For Jacquelyn, this summer was no less than productive. During her summer, she juggled a part- time job as a hostess, two summer courses and an internship with a commercial real estate company. Although her part-time job as a hostess at Margarita's mexican restaurant did not fully begin until the beginning of July, Miss. Drolet had plenty on her plate when she began. She had to ensure that all customers were happy with the service and fix any problems that came up within the restaurant.
Being merely a sophomore in college, Jacquelyn truly made herself known when she had the privilege of working with Investment Property Specialists- also known as IPS. IPS is a commercial real estate brokerage located in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This development firm has been operating in the Boston area for over 25 years. Drolet was responsible for communication within social network and also for social working with the public. Her work for the internship can easily be shown through the Facebook page, Twitter and Linkedin and also through the marketing events she attended with IPS. Along with hostessing and interning, Jacquelyn also wanted to get head with her schooling and decided to take two core classes for her degree. When asked if she was relived to be back for the school year she answered, “I'm up for the challenge.”
